Why attend the Smoky Mountain Spring Choral Event?
There are three things the Smoky Mountains are known for: great food, great fun, and great music. As a performer, musician, or choir member there is no better place to go and experience worship through music than the Smoky Mountain Spring Choral Event. At this event choirs from all over the country will join together to receive training from some of today’s most established and renowned vocal artists and performers. Choirs will have the opportunity to perform together and showcase their abilities as well as grow together through vocal part sessions and industry guided training in choral performance, vocal performance, and worship. This event will give your choir an opportunity to join together and team build as a group as well as be encouraged individually and by fellow choir members from around the country. Trained experts from the music industry will share their expertise and your choir members will learn new songs and strategies that will enable your choir to lead your church in a more meaningful worship experience when you return home. To top off an amazing time of training and fellowship, the event would not be complete without a concert led by these industry greats and accompanied by the attending choirs. Your choir does not want to miss the Smoky Mountain Spring Choral Event; it is sure to become a yearly tradition for your choir members.

This evening will end with a special concert by The Isaacs for registrants only, this is not a public event. The Isaacs, a multi-award winning family group who began singing 35 years ago based out of Hendersonville, TN. The vocalists are mother Lily Isaacs and siblings Ben Isaacs, Sonya Isaacs Yeary and Rebecca Isaacs Bowman. The morning will be filled with sessions conducted by Mike Speck, Cliff Duren and Tim Davis.   During this time, we will have a time of worship and you will learn and/or review all four songs being performed during the concert.  You will receive instruction and coaching that will enable you to become a better singer and member of your choir.  You will also spend time in discussion about the importance of the choir in modern day worship.  Some sessions will be sectional and separate from ministers of music/staff.

After lunch, you will enjoy the rest of the day at Dollywood Theme Park. Considered one of the world’s premier theme parks, Dolly Parton’s Dollywood features rip-roaring rides, delectable fare, and stellar entertainment—all surrounded by breathtaking views of the Great Smoky Mountains. From live artists performing country, southern gospel, classic rock ‘n’ roll and Appalachian music, to master craftsmen showcasing glass blowing and blacksmithing, Dollywood is brimming with the rich heritage and artistry of the Smokies.

For groups that still have time and energy, there are plenty of shows and attractions to experience in the Pigeon Forge area, not to mention numerous restaurants.
